Initial Examination

Every patient will receive a full spinal examination. It is important to have a good understanding of our patients current health status. Initial exams help us to created a personalized treatment plan for each patient. 

Chiropractic adjustments 

Spinal adjustments are the core treatment in chiropractic care, but it is not synonymous with chiropractic. A chiropractic adjustment involves using the hands or a device to apply a controlled, rapid force to a joint. With the goal to increase range and quality of motion in the area being treated.

Passive modalities

Passive modalities are described as the application of some form of cold, heat, ultrasound therapy and/or electrical stimulation to the body to assist in pain management. Modalities can be especially useful when used early on in an injury. 

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy focuses on releasing muscular tension and tightness. It helps to address the underlying problem of many common musculoskeletal complaints and reduce the discomfort associated with them. Our office performs various methods of manual therapies including FAKTR, soft tissue, and myofascial release techniques. 

therapeutic exercise

Bodily movements are prescribed to correct posture, improve musculoskeletal function, or maintain a state of well-being. Our goal is for every patient is to use exercise to return them to their optimal level of function and give patients an active roll in their health.

athletic taping

Athletic taping is used for various reasons. Whether it is to support postures, decrease swelling, or absorb load. We use various taping applications specific to patient conditions. 

cupping 

Cups are place on the skin, within the cups a negative pressure is created. Cupping increases blood flow to the area and relieves muscle tension by separating the muscle from the fascia.
